Luisa Brando is dedicated to producing art and architecture projects sensitive to landscape and heritage conservation. Working between disciplines and geographies, her site responsive work invokes to reflect upon the territory and the poetics of habitation. Currently she is interested in working close with other than human beings and creating projects that makes us more empathetic to the living environment. Over the last seven years she has worked close with rivers and ruins, thinking of multiplicity of time and the correlation between memory, materiality and territory. Luisa currently lives in Madrid, teaches at Universidad de los Andes, in Bogotá, and collaborates with multiple artists, urban designers and architects in Colombia, New York, and Mexico.
